Birth Doula Services

My work as a birth and postpartum doula within the Rochester, NY community (and surrounding areas) is balanced with my Lecturer position for the Institute of Society and Genetics at the University of California, Los Angeles. The tools and modalities I practice in the field directly translate to the topics I teach within my courses, allowing for the work to be cyclical in form. As a strong advocate for gender equality and reproductive justice, I have experience working on maternal and child health projects both domestically and abroad (topics including: menstrual health, pregnancy and postpartum education, stress and anxiety during pregnancy, and family relationships). My daughters, Calla and Aria, are one of the greatest inspirations to my work as a doula and serve as a continuous reminder of the sacredness of birth work. See full bio.
